God will cause you to reach into your most challenging moment and pull out a sword of great victory! The pain of your past, struggle, and difficulty, times of failure, and moments of being greatly miss understood or falsely accused will become a powerful instrument of freedom!  Whatever the devil has meant for harm, God will turn it for good! God has your past, present, and future in His hands.  

Go in confidence and grace— no rushing, no frantic escape. There’s no need to be anxious— the Eternal One goes before and behind you. The God of Israel paves the way with assurance and strength. He watches your back.

Isaiah 52:12 (VOICE)

God surrounds us long before our enemy does; we are wrapped up in His protective care! He goes before us and watches behind us.  He has our back and our future.  Whatever is in your past that may cause you pain, He is your rear guard.  There is no reason for you to be looking over your shoulder and remembering the pain of yesterday.  Jesus wants to turn our painful moments into powerful moments of praise.  Painful moments don’t have to cripple us for a lifetime! In fact, weapons of victory can be forged and obtained that free us and free others.  God wants to put weapons in our hands taken from those moments that the devil hoped would defeat us, freeze us up, and keep us from progressing forward.  He wants what the enemy meant for harm to work for our good, and they will.  

When Young David destroyed Goliath, he cut Goliath’s head off with Goliath’s own sword.  He obtained the sword from his defeated enemy! God wants to give us a sword of victory out of our struggle and battles so that our fight may not be in vain, but so that, we will know the triumph and power God gives us over our enemies. 

So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and he struck down the Philistine and killed him, but there was no sword in David’s hand. So he ran and stood over the Philistine, grasped his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their [mighty] champion was dead, they fled.

To cut off the head of Goliath was an amazing show of strength and victory over his enemy.  Head is representative of authority, and authority was taken that day! The constant intimidation, taunting, and fear that kept the Israelites from moving forward and being successful had now been destroyed! Some of you are being transformed in such a way to have victory over your painful past that you will literally see new authority! Not only will those moments lay dead at your feet, but you will cut off the hold that it has had on you, and the sting of those moments will be no more!!  Even though your thoughts may be consumed by a painful past, and is affecting the way you process things, there is a supernatural change coming! I hear the Lord saying- “I am removing the sting!”

This thing will no longer be champion over you, but rather, YOU will champion over it!! 

He heals the wounds of every shattered heart.

Whatever your enemies might be, God has given you the power to defeat them, the ability to not only rule over them but free others in the process! He will take your shattered moments and turn them into your most defining moments of victory, and you will use the sword of your enemy against them to take their authority once and for all.
