Psalm 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
“Be still…”
Not “shut up.” Not “sit down and do nothing.”
It’s a command to stop striving. Stop panicking. Stop trying to fix it in your own strength.
Picture the Israelites at the Red Sea – waves crashing, chariots closing in, hearts pounding. Stuck between a rock and a hard place with no way out.
God says: Pause. Breathe. Look at Me.
It’s the same voice that calms storms and parts waters.
Be still = Let go of the wheel. I’ve got this.
“…and know that I am God.”
Not “figure Me out.” Not “agree with My plan.”
Know = experiential, gut-level recognition.
Like when the sea splits and you walk through on dry ground—you don’t just believe, you KNOW.
This isn’t head knowledge. It’s “I’ve seen Him move” knowledge.
It’s the moment you realize:
“I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
This isn’t ego. This is promise. He’s Almighty God.
No matter how loud the enemy roars, how dark the night gets, how impossible it looks…
God wins. Period. Every time.
And when He does? The whole world will see it.
Your breakthrough isn’t just for you it’s to reveal His glory to all the onlookers. Oh, they’re watching alright. Watching to see if this thing is real. To see what we really believe.
So when life screams, “IT’S OVER!”
God whispers, “Be still. Watch Me get the glory.”
That’s Psalm 46:10.
Not a suggestion – it’s a battle cry for trust.
