The LORD said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” He obeyed and met him at the mountain of God, greeting him with a kiss. Moses then shared all the words the LORD had given him to speak and the signs He commanded him to perform. Together, Moses and Aaron gathered all the elders of the people of Israel. Aaron conveyed all that the LORD had spoken to Moses and demonstrated the signs before the people. They believed; upon hearing that the LORD had visited the people of Israel and seen their affliction, they bowed their heads and worshiped.
— Exodus 4:27-31
There is tremendous value and strength when the men of God, especially Church leaders, come together in unity and purpose at the “mountain of God.” This signifies a place of awe before God, where humility and respect are paramount as they focus on their common calling.
It is in this sacred space that inspiration and the impartation of God’s great commission ignite the hearts of His leaders, empowering them to encourage their congregations to worship, serve the Almighty, and support the ongoing work of the Gospel.
I envision the fathers of the early Church gathering in this manner, sharing the oracles of God’s message and demonstrating His power and love for the Church. They encouraged one another not to lose hope in adversity but to persist in their unified mission to proclaim this message to the world.
May you also find inspiration today to stay strong, remain faithful, and work diligently. In your darkest moments, remember that shadows signify the presence of light, and your challenges will pass. Jesus is with you in the storm, and your efforts are not in vain. Let your light shine, and remember to connect with those who share your vision and purpose at the Mountain of God!
