I always say, “It takes community to do recovery.”
Truth is — it takes community to do life.
And I’m so grateful for mine. 🙌
Before my recent back surgery, I’d been praying that through it all I’d grow stronger — mentally, physically, and spiritually. Everything we go through has purpose… and I want the full benefit of it. 💪
At our FWC board meeting the other night, Pastor Bryce opened in prayer — as he always does. When he prayed for me, he said something that hit deep:
“God, I thank You that after this surgery, Tim is not just returning to normal — he’s returning to better. He’s going to be so much better!”
That word grabbed hold of my spirit. It’s exactly what I’ve been believing and declaring — and that night, God confirmed it.
Here’s what I’m reminded of:
Without prayer, there’s no hope.
Without prayer, there’s no power.
Prayer is the foundation of all success.
We pray because we believe. 🙏
Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
Strength for Every Part of Us
🧠 Mental strength: Hope anchors the mind in peace.
💪 Physical strength: God renews endurance.
🕊️ Spiritual strength: His power lifts us higher.
I’m not coming back the same — I’m coming back better.
